Roger Clemens Thinks You're An Idiot

... . Now I've no doubt that when the interview airs on Sunday, Clemens will say that McNamee is lying, but we'll have to wait and see. What we no longer have to wait for though is Roger recycling the same bullshit excuse baseball players who've been caught have been using for a while now. Stop me if you've heard this one before . When asked by Wallace if McNamee had ever injected him with any drugs, Clemens responds: "Lidocaine and B-12. It’s for my joints, and B-12 I still take today." Clemens calls the accusation "ridiculous" and says he "never" used any banned substances. ...
Clemens Admits to Receiving (Non-Steroid/HGH) Injections from McNamee
Published 1/4/2008 by Patrick at YanksBlog.com
The 60 Minutes site has released some quotes from next Sunday's interview with Roger Clemens. He admits to receiving injections from Brian McNamee, but says that they were not steroids or human growth hormone - they were B12 and Lidocaine. They have video of him saying this at the site. Though, as a commenter at the 60 Minutes site points out - it doesn't quite sound like he's saying Lidocaine. Still, it may be a slip of the tongue. In the interview, he swears that he has never used any banned substances. In ...

Roger Clemens Gets A World Class Drilling [Roger Clemens]

... There's something kind of awesome about Mike Wallace's questioning of Roger Clemens on "60 Minutes," set to air this Sunday. Clemens uses the tired, repeatedly discredited "it was just B-12!" alibi, and boy, does Wallace ever get after him. ...

... affair, there's probably a lot more to the story and it makes me wonder why he just didn't say he what did to the investigators in the Mitchell Report. Right now, his actions are speaking louder than words; alas, I still think there's far more to the story. Considering that the greatest pitcher of this generation and preeminent hitter in the game have been accused of PED and steroid use, the game has been soiled and the world will be watching this case closely. If you didn't see the interview, it's here...

... is in that Bonds category if he likes it or not. This is drama that's going to drag for awhile now, and it'll be interesting to see how Clemens tries to get out of the corner he's painted himself in. This thing's going to be going on for an exhausted amount of time I'm sure (why Clemens is suing), but if and when they're both (Clemens & McNamee) are in front of congress, that'll be some of making the finger wagging of Rafael Palmeiro look like childs play.

... see him on 60 Minutes last night. First of all the editing job they did on him was awful. They clipped every response he made and put it into neat little sound bites. Then he waffled like hell when asked if he would take a lie detector test and complained that it would cost him a lot of "cash" to prove himself innocent if that was even possible. Using the " money line" didn't help you Roger. You've made more money than 99% of any worker in this country. You can see the video of him on 60 Minutes here. ...

... Let's see here. Since McNamee embarked on his campaign of allegedly extreme and outrageous conduct towards poor Roger Clemens, he has been seen glad handing politicians, talking casually (for him anyway) with Mike Wallace, sipping lattes on his way into testimony, speaking defiantly in open Congress while millions of people watched, working out with the Astros, and building a career as a remote pitching coach. ...
