Tribe Brass To Discuss Wedge's Future
MLB Rumors - MLBTradeRumors.com — According to the Associated Press, via ESPN.com, Indians general manager Mark Shapiro is expected to discuss manager Eric Wedge's status with president Paul Dolan and team owner Larry Dolan "in the next few days." Wedge is in serious danger of losing his job.  The Indians, 30-42 as of Tuesday night, are stuck in last place in the American League Central and have seen a major drop in attendance this season.  "It's been one of those years, that's for sure," said Wedge, who is in his seventh season with the club and is signed through 2010.  Look for some kind of announcement by the weekend. ...

Daily Box Score 6/24: Cleveland is Frustrated with The Process
Beyond the Box Score — ... putting together a non-horrible bullpen. That, and maybe their scouting sucks. Sure, blame the scouts.  Color me starry-eyed, but I still believe what kind Uncle DePodesta told me a while back: Like a casino, it appears as though baseball is all about outcomes, but just think about all of the processes that are in play during the course of just one game or even just one at-bat. Watch for falling axes. ...

The Blame Game
clevelandtribeblog.blogspot.com 6/23/2009 — As Eric Wedge apparently lives to manage another day and voices on each side of the debate as to whether he is to blame (or how much blame can be placed on him) for the mess of the 2009 season on top of the 2008 season, the question comes rattling from the rooftops – who is to blame for the ...

How Much Longer For Wedge?
deepleftfield.com 6/26/2009 — Eric Wedge's Indians have been stuck in last place for most of the season. When analyzing a manager’s job status, measurements go beyond the wins and losses.
