Baseball can be a funny game. You could go your entire career without ever playing in a World Series, let alone playing in the playoffs. Just ask Todd Helton from the Colorado Rockies. This was his first playoff appearance this season. For guys like Jacoby Ellsbury, Dustin Pedroia, Hideki Okajima and Daisuke Matsuzaka among others this was their first appearance in the postseason and now they are going after the ultimate prize in Major League Baseball, the World Series trophy.

I'm curious how champagne tastes for Ryan Garko when it's loaded with tears?

Filed under: Boston, Denver, Red Sox, Rockies, AL East, NL West, MLB PlayoffsThe Rockies may be down two games to none to the bigger, badder Boston Red Sox ... but let it be known that shortstop Troy Tulowitzki isn't giving up.
Well, we would hope and assume that nobody on the Rockies has given up yet, with three games in their friendly confines coming up. But Tulowitzki has put his confidence into words.
"Anytime you win 21 of 22, then to lose two in a row, it's an awkward feeling coming back in the clubhouse and realizing you lost another game," Tulowitzki said after the Rockies' ...
