Fang's Bites — ... was thought to be on a fast track for a great career when he was hit in the eye by a line drive off the bat of Gil McDougland of the Yankees in 1957. Score tried to come back but was never the same. He became a broadcaster for the Indians in 1963 and then stayed with the team on radio and TV until 1997.
