The Indians are on the verge of acquiring Rangers outfielder Kenny Lofton, a source said Friday afternoon. An official announcement could be made later today. It's uncertain whom the Indians are giving up in the trade. Indians General Manager Mark Shapiro and Assistant General Manager Chris Antonetti could not be reached.
