This from Foxsports.com’s Ken Rosenthal: Teams are asking the Indians about shortstop Jhonny Peralta, knowing that the Tribe could replace him with second baseman Asdrubal Cabrera. The Indians, however, are not motivated to deal Peralta, and they also are not considering moving him to third and shifting Casey Blake back to the outfield. The team’s goal is to add two or three bullpen arms after leaning heavily on Rafael Perez, Rafael Betancourt and Joe Borowski down the stretch . . . The Texas Rangers are preparing a long term deal for their hot prospect, Ian Kinsler. Kinsler started '07 like a house afire, until injuries and a slump derailed his season.
