The Jorge Velandia era has come to an end.. For now at least, we hope. Don't shed a tear for him. He's back in Buffalo yucking it up with Morgan Ensberg, Tony Graffanino and Todd Linden to form the greatest group of current veterans in AAA uniforms. Asdrubal Cabrera has returned! Jamey Carroll's sort of cooling off and Cabrera's continued success has probably given the Tribe enough confidence to make this move. Not sure if he will be the full time starter just yet, he'll probably be worked into it with Carroll still getting time. But either way ...

... from the fact that Liriano is still pitching in Triple A, as opposed to being recalled. The claim is that they are leaving him in the minors to cost him service time and therefor “Super Two” player status and salary arbitration.  I can’t say that I blame Liriano for being upset, considering he has posted a 2.73 ERA while going 7-0 in his last 10 starts.  Hopefully for fantasy owners, this speeds up the process of getting him back to the majors.
