The call up of Griess should not alarm Sharks fans however- a team must carry two healthy goaltenders at all times, making Griess' inclusion onto the Sharks roster a necessity.
With Brian Boucher a perfect 2-0 (both games resulting in shutouts), the Sharks have an able netminder to fill Nabokov's skates this weekend against the Stars and Coyotes respectively.

Bishop did that "huh?" look at his glove, and went off into the corner to focus. I turned to Laurie and said "NHL slapshot. AHL glove hand". Bishop GOT the shot, and the strength of Blake's shot just overpowered the goalie.
