... | May 20th, 2008 Coca-Cola is one of the official sponsors of Euro 2008, and they’re making their presence felt with a whole bunch of commercials for geared toward the event. The overriding theme is that football brings people together. Here we have guys discovering that they do share a common language. (While the woman sleeps. Ahem.) ... the storyboards for this one. Nice. Getting peed on then hugging some anonymous statue thing. Thankfully there was one that conveyed the same message in a much more refined and satisfying way (I personally love the randomness of the cactus and balloon). Hopefully this is the only one that ever makes the airways, but I doubt it. Credit 101 Great Goals and the Euro '08 blog (Laurie's all over the place!) for helping me out.
