Here are the annual salaries (including bonuses) for nine of the the Pac-10 head coaches, according to the paper. I’ve compiled the rankings, and the comments are mine: 1. The Bama Beat — ... assistant salaries ranked fourth nationally and third in the SEC among public schools that esponded to open record requests from the newspaper. Tennessee ranked No. 1 in assistant salaries, ahead of Texas, LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Florida State and Missouri. As for head coaching salaries, Nick Saban was rated fourth behind Pete Carroll of Southern Cal, Bob Stoops of Oklahoma and Urban Meyer at Florida.
