BOSTON -- Bartolo Colon, on the disabled list because of a strained oblique muscle, has been told to back off his throwing.
Manager Terry Francona said Colon has been experiencing discomfort in his throwing session on flat ground from 120-130 feet. So the plan is for Colon to take Wednesday and Thursday off and then play catch on Friday, though ...
