I really don’t think the fact that Clemens was stuttering and contradicting himself was all that significant because its not easy standing in front of Congress (I’d imagine) and explaining oneself, especially when ones entire life is on the line.  Still, all Clemens will accomplish through these proceedings is draw more scrutiny onto himself.
