Laura Ingraham on Brett Favre's Tears: 'I Didn't Know There Was a Woman Quarterback'
Published 3/11/2008 by Michael David Smith at FanHouse
Filed under: PackersI noted on Sunday that Fox News Channel commentator Laura Ingraham suggested that Packers quarterback Brett Favre shouldn't have cried at the news conference to announce his retirement. But now I learn that what Ingraham said on Fox News Channel is tame compared to what she said on her syndicated talk show: "All these years, and I didn't know there was a woman quarterback in the NFL. ... "Brett Favre...we're watching this in the studio, obviously retiring from the NFL, great quarterback, handsome 38-year-old man, he gets up there and he does this press conference that was frankly one of the most embarrassing things ...
FOX News Commentator Calls Brett Favre A Woman For Crying During Speech
Published 3/11/2008 by Awful Announcing- at Awful Announcing
I know you probably REALLY want me to stop talking about this, but when a woman calls an ex-NFL QB a "girlie man"....I'm going to post about it. FOX's Laura Ingraham went on a rant about Brett Favre this past Friday that puts Sal Pal's piece to shame.... "All these years, and I didn't know there was a woman quarterback in the NFL. ... "Brett Favre...we're watching this in the studio, obviously retiring from the NFL, great quarterback, handsome 38-year-old man, he gets up there and he does this press conference that was frankly one of the most embarrassing things I have ever seen." "That's a great message for young boys. 'Get up there and act like a girl and start ...
Brett Favre is a woman, says someone who is sort of like a woman

In
discussing Brett Favre's retirement
speech, I did note that it was a blubberfest, but it never crossed my mind to criticize
the guy for it. I only thought of the words of The Big Lebowski. "Are you
surprised at my tears, sir? Strong men also cry ... strong men ... also
cry."
Especially in sports. It's not like Warren Schmidt retiring from
the Woodmen of the World insurance company in Omaha (though that has its own challenges).
Here's the difference, here's
what Laura Ingraham didn't get, and here's why it's going to lead to tears:
You do not become a great athlete without a strong passion for what you're
doing. If you don't love to play, ...

> Ingraham Is Officially On The Packers Nation Hit List | 100% Injurt Rate Some female talk show host -- who I'm certain is a miserable, cold, emotionless human being -- calls Brett Favre a woman for crying during his press conference. > Pitino, Former Wildcat Opening Dunkin Donuts | You Been Blinded Fried dough is exactly what the athletic youth in Kentucky needs. > Shaq clears the stands AGAIN! | Odenized > I Hope It's Not From Crohn's Disease ... | LOL Jocks Kaz Matsui has what sounds like a very uncomfortable problem. > King, Meet Jester | True Hoop So, apparently LeBron isn't actually meeting with the crazy kid who ran after King James on the court.

CRAZY 'WOMAN' CALLS BRETT FAVRE 'WOMAN'
Published 3/12/2008 at With Leather
This was lost in the shuffle of bikini-wearing WAGs and naked cheerleaders yesterday, but it's worth pointing out that FOX News commentator/yapcunt Laura Ingraham laid into Brett Favre for his emotional display at the press conference during which he announced his retirement. [Ingraham said,] "All these years, and I didn't know there was a woman quarterback in the NFL...
