According to the Denver Post, Manny Corpas is out as Colorado's closer. Brian Fuentes is the guy you need to add. As we mentioned yesterday, he's only 25.9 percent owned. According to the Denver Post (click here for the article), Colorado Rockies manager Clint Hurdle announced today Brian Fuentes will return as the team’s closer, a role he held down for 2+ seasons, before losing the job to Manny Corpas last season. Corpas has struggled this season, blowing 4 saves in 8 chances, including his last 3. Fuentes is obviously a must own now in all formats, if he is not already owned. It is very possible that people saw this possibility coming and were prepared for it, but if not you want to act fast before someone beats you to him. He saved ...
