Heyman says three GMs who would have interest in Ichiro Suzuki have been told he's not available. Nonetheless, Heyman suggests trading the face of the franchise would be the best way to shake things up in Seattle.
The Mariners have other valuable trade commodities: Erik Bedard, Raul Ibanez, and Adrian Beltre. Most of the team's other vets aren't valued highly, though Jarrod Washburn has strung ...

He wrote that three GM’s have been told that he is unavailable, one GM mentioning that he is nearly untradeable as “Mr. Mariner.” Heyman thinks it’s a good idea to deal Ichiro, one of the reasons being his alleged contributions toward bad team chemistry. ...

... hitter in the game. I think Ichiro does what’s best for Ichiro while at the same time stressing the importance of “team.” There seems to be a contradiction there that just rubs me the wrong way. Does this mean I would like to see Ichiro shipped off at the trading deadline? Well, no, I’m not a total effing idiot. Along with pitchers Felix Hernandez and Brandon Morrow, Ichiro is off the trading block. Plus, the Japanese ownership would have nothing to do with it.
