    That’s not a coincidence about Krivsky. Can’t be a good sign for Omar.

    About Holliday, it would be a huge mistake for the Mets to acquire. All it takes to realize this is a quick look at his splits:

    Home: .363/.426/.657
    Away: .274/.337/.440

    As a comparison, Nady’s career numbers:

    .277/.334/.450

    So essentially, Holliday on the road is Nady.

    But will that really make them better off?  Krivsky can't really be much better than Omar.  Many times it's a good idea to get some new blood in there, but if there's not quality to the new blood, it doesn't help much.

    I think the Mets may just be cursed.  Minaya did great work for the Nationals and you had to believe in him.  It's hard to believe they could have been so misfortunate, but it's gotta happen to someone.
