Ken Rosenthal has a couple of Rockies tidbits, including news that the team and Holliday are progressing in talks on a longer contract. I've said before that I'm on the fence about this, but Holliday is less likely to turn into a sour deal long term than just about anybody else on the team, so I can't say I'm opposed to it either. Eric Hinske appears close to signing with the D-backs to fill in Chad Tracy's role until Tracy returns from last season's surgery. After that?
