The Ravens are great when it comes to drafting, so that’s out the window. All the viable pieces on defense that may work are either too valuable for Sheppard or Brown, or not enough. Still, Harbaugh is the former secondary coach of the Eagles, and he may just be that sweet on his old players coming to B-More to lock down the AFC’s steady diet of top-flight receivers. [link]

Looks like the pipe dream of seeing Randy Moss in an Eagle uniform is over. Moss re-signed with the New England Patriots for 3 years, 27 million. Free agent wide receiver Kelley Washington has agreed to terms on a contract with the Patriots. Washington spent 2007 in New England and was utilized mostly on special teams. He was cut after the season because of a large roster bonus due to him but wanted to stay in the silver and blue and now will spend at least 2008 back in Foxborough.

An inside source with the Eagles has confirmed with Sports of Boston that former Patriots CB Asante Samuel has agreed to sign with the Eagles. According to the Boston Globe the contract is for 6o million dollars over 6 years. This would give the Eagles three high quality CB’s and could open up a possibility for a trade elsewhere.
