Cowher outage: Bill won't be joining Gang
Bill Cowher has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Jets' head-coaching vacany, the Jets announced Tuesday night. "After reaching out to coach Cowher's representatives, we were informed tonight that he is not a candidate for the position," the Jets said in a statement. The two sides never got around to discussing money, length of contract or structure, a person familiar with the talks said.
