Sources are saying Mississippi State head coach Sylvester Croom has resigned. After three straight 3-win seasons, Croom looked like he had turned the corner as the Bulldogs finished 2007 at 8-5 with a Liberty Bowl win. However, a disappointing 2008 season ended on Friday with a 45-0 loss to in-state rival Ole Miss. Croom was 21-38 in his career at MSU and went 10-30 in SEC play.
