CSKA Moscow makes offer to Gordon
CSKA Moscow makes offer to Gordon
CSKA Moscow makes offer to Gordon [From the FanShots. Interesting, but I agree that it doesn't sound like a serious enough offer. The only reason for Ben to take this would be to screw over the Bulls...which, though he screws himself too, isn't the least worthwhile goal. -ed.] BG to reunite with Veektor? Greek sources indicate that CSKA Moscow has made an offer to Gordon. ...

CSKA Moscow May Have Come Creeping Round the Bulls' Back Stair for Ben Gordon
FanHouse — ... Paxson may have to pull those old Gordon Lightfoot records out for some sage advice. In the next level of the ever-escalating Ben Gordon contract standoff, noted Russian basketball juggernaut CSKA Moscow has reared its ugly head and is reported to be making a substantial offer to the Bulls' shooting guard. The report is dubious on several fronts. First, it comes from a Greek news site that was then found by a Bulls blog and then discovered by Blog-A-Bull's community. If you fancy a laugh, give the poorly translated version of the ...

Detroit Bad Boys — ... Ryan Corazza for launching the new MOUTHPIECE blog. And since we’re now completely off-topic, DBB reader Mike Payne wants to give you a copy of Madden NFL 09. I’m curious what Tatum Bell’s fumble rating will be, because the guy has some pretty sticky hands. Back to basketball: CSKA Moscow wants to throw money at Ben Gordon. No real reason to think he’ll take it, but here’s to hoping he does. (via Blogabull) ...

Ben Gordon to Russia?
SLAM Online — ... a Bulls blog which found the story initially, put the Greek article through the Google Translator and it apparently claims that Gordon is going to make his decision today. The report is, at best, flimsy, but with seemingly little League-wide interest in the frustrated guard, it’s not entirely out of the question that Gordon could skip the pond instead of playing one lame-duck season in Chicago prior to becoming an unrestricted free agent. Ben Gordon to Russia?
MOUTHPIECE Blog // A Chicago-Addled Sports Blog — ... Bulls at the same time. This is by no means a done deal. For now, the Daily Herald is reporting both Gordon and his agent are keeping a tight lip on this report and his future. However, if the money is good, the team is top-notch as reported and Gordon isn’t getting a lot of interest or as much scrilla here in the NBA, this certainly seems like a viable option for the guy. Plus, he can always chill with Jannero Pargo. {HT: Blog a Bull.}
