wrigleyville23 — For those of you back from the seemingly interminable Thanksgiving holiday ... you missed absolutely nothing, other than an intriguing Jake Peavy rumor. Anything of interest is going to start happening in over the next couple weeks, allegedly. Today, December 1, is the last day teams can offer arbitration. The Cubs will offer to Woody, but nobody else. A week from today, December 8, is when the winter meetings start. Hopefully, deals get done and trades get made so we can go on with our lives praying for Plaxico Burress.
