Catcher Geovany Soto (hand) was well enough to play Saturday, if needed, Piniella said. And Ronny Cedeno was in the lineup at shortstop three days after jamming his right shoulder on a head-first slide. He said he was back to 90 percent strength, although it looked like the shoulder bothered him on an errant throw in the second inning.
As for the game, it should be an exciting one today.
