Owings, Upton injured in Diamondbacks loss Owings’ frustration was evident as he slammed his helmet in the dirt as he sat next to second and was examined by head athletic trainer Ken Crenshaw. Owings was escorted off the field and into the clubhouse, where he began receiving treatment immediately. “A little stiff,” Owings said. “But I’ve been through plenty of ankle sprains and I’ve already started to get some work in here with the trainers.
