D-Backs Layoff 31 Front Office Employees, Cite Economy as Reason
The Arizona Diamondbacks have cut 31 employees from the front office, or approximately nine percent of the staff, in an effort to be more efficient during the economic downturn. The reduction in staff leaves close to 300 full-time employees.
