... were played, and one man's testicle was fractured . Chris Snyder, after a very well placed foul tip, is both less of and more of a man than any of us. I'll be damned if he didn't stay behind the plate and finish out the inning despite his yet to be discovered, horrific injury. If I were in his shoes, I would have needed to be completely immobilized and airlifted to the nearest trauma center. Here's to you, Chris Snyder. I watched you wince through a night on the job despite a fault line in your manhood, proving true the old adage that you'll always see something new on a trip ...

Just like deaths. Kaz Matsui’s anal fissures, Felix Pie’s testicular surgery, and … Chris Snyder’s testicular fracture. Did you just grimace? We did.
On a side note, Eric Byrnes of the D-Bags went on the DL again yesterday. Do you put it in a cast? Perhaps you just rub it with cold water like they do in soccer ...

According to Don Ketchum of The Arizona Republic (click here for the article), the Diamondbacks have placed Eric Byrnes back on the DL. Wow, that certainly didn’t take long. He appeared in just 5 games since returning from the DL and it is unknown how long he will be out of action for. After hitting .286 with 21 HR and 50 SB last season, it would not have been a surprise if he regressed, but he hasn’t been able to keep himself on the field. Still, you have to just stash him away until he’s finally healthy to produce. In the same article, Ketchum notes that the team has ...

Ummm...this statement is disturbing: "Eric Byrnes strained his left hamstring and Chris Snyder suffered what was diagnosed as a left testicular fracture after he was struck by a foul ball off the bat of Corey Hart." Story. "Left testicular fracture?!?!?!" That's not something you hope for.
