It's hard to know what to make of Clark; his stats are all over the map the last few years. He hit 17 homers in 221 at bats in 2007, but this year he has only one. Still, for the D'Backs, who have a floundering offense and no right-handed power threat on their bench, he seems like a good addition. ...

It’s the buzz of the internet- yes, there’s a trailer out for Watchmen. Oh, right, but in more relevant news, Tony Clark is coming back to the desert. Now, I’m a bit uncertain about this deal. First off, does the front office know we can trade for players that have never been on our roster? It seems like one out of ever three or four trades or signings is bringing someone back who we used to have- Tony Clark, B.K. Kim, Randy Johnson, Craig Counsell. There’s a whole world of players out there who have never worn a Diamondbacks jersey to consider, guys. Actually, I shouldn’t complain. At least we didn’t pick up Richie Sexson. ...
