Dallas Cowboys draft board parlor game; plus Chad Johnson hearts the Cowboys Links1
The most interesting thing to happen in weeks concerning the Cowboys is the "rumored" exposure of the Cowboys draft board for defensive backs. BTB-regular DeRat posted the diary here and we’ve included the pictures. The latest parlor game for Cowboys fanatics is trying to make out the list of players in the pics. The first few are easy to discern but the later ones are kind of fuzzy, ... [link]

The Cowboys Are Quite Stealth [NFL Draft]
Published 3/21/2008 by Leitch at Deadspin
... It seems the Cowboys accidentally showed their draft board of top defensive backs. Considering that's a position of need, that could conceivably be a problem, at least if everyone's paranoia is justified. ...

Paper: Crazy Al Davis Thwarted Cowboys Deal For Javon Walker With Outrageous Contract
Anytime I reference a Star-Telegram article, I have to disclose that the paper’s Dallas Cowboys reporters’ claim to fame is they are “Right more than we are Wrong.” So with that said, let’s turn the page to Randy Galloway’s interesting Easter Sunday article that is full of juicy garbage. Rest assured, according to Galloway’s report, owner [...]
Pacman Chatter
Guess the musing that the Cowboys really might provide a home for Tennessee's number one bad boy were not just idle musing after all. It appears that preliminary talks have been had about bringing the rainmaker cornerback from Nashville to Dallas. I can only hope that the Cowboys do this, somehow talk Mike Brown into taking the cap hit to deal Chad Johnson, and give us all the spectacle of ...
DeMarcus Ware Has Parlayed Maiming Quarterbacks Into a Lucrative Career
For all the speculation about Pacman Jones , Chad Johnson and Darren McFadden making their way to Dallas, the Cowboys also have some pretty good players currently on the roster. One of them, the team's 2005 first-round pick, linebacker DeMarcus Ware , will soon parlay a fast start to his NFL career into a whole lot of dough. In fact, according to the Dallas Morning News ' Todd Archer, ...
Chad Johnson Wants To Come To Big D, Others In The News
Earlier in the week it was Anqoan Boldin rumored to be talking with the Cowboys for a possible deal, now it’s the unhappy Bengals’ receiver Chad Johnson making noise about coming to Dallas. One quote I read has him stating that “…it’s not if, but which finger to put the ring on” in reference to Dallas winning the next Super Bowl if he came here. Now as ...

STINKO WANTS TO BE A COWBOY
We’re having trouble keeping up with the antics of Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson, and even more trouble caring. But the situation remains newsworthy, because Johnson is one of the most physically talented receivers in the NFL. And because he seems to be interested in playing for any team the one that currently owns his [...]
Ocho Cinco Looking To Come To The Cowboys?
It’s no secret that Chad Johnson wants out of Cincinnati, much like it’s no secret that the sky is blue and birds go tweet. What remains a mystery is where Ocho Cinco would want to end up. Albert Breer of the DALLAS MORNING NEWS has a good idea , and it should make Cowboys fans happy. (more…) Share This
Linc’d Up: How Bout Them Sixers!
I love this time of the year for sports. March Madness is in full effect, the Sixers are gearing up for the playoffs, the Phillies are almost ready to kick off the season, and the Eagles are preparing for the draft. There is a lot of hope right now for Philadelphia sports. Well except for [...]
Current Bengals QB Carson Palmer Isn't Distracted by Future Cowboys WR Ocho Cinco
Today is the first day of the 2008 season. Or at least that's what a bunch of Bengals players in t-shirts and shorts are telling themselves as they begin working out for their next NFL game, which is some five months away. Two guys not in Cincinnati making themselves better are also two of the team's best players: Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh . No worries, though; quarterback Carson ...
The World Now Knows Dallas Cowboys Are Drafting Cromartie
How do I know this? Because CBS-11 and some dork with the Dallas Cowboys allowed a video to be recorded that showed the Cowboys entire defensive draft board. Too bad CBS-11 cannot update their little news ticker on my site, but they can come up with this frame. The video is all over the Internet, and [...]
Cowboys Stupidly Show Off Their Draft Board?
Somebody on NFL Draft Countdown noticed that a video shot by the CBS affiliate in Dallas showed what appears to be the Cowboys’ board of defensive backs and defensive lineman. Here is a link to the video itself. The defensive lineman are impossible to read, but the defensive backs are not. They include, in order, Dominique Rogers-Cromartie, Leodis McKelvin, Kenny Phillips, Mike ...
Cowboys Unwittingly Show Off Secret Draft Board
BLEEDING GREEN NATION gleefully presents screen grabs of the Dallas Cowboys unwittingly showing their defensive back draft board . It appears that the cameras of KTXA in Dallas caught a glimpse of the Cowboys’ DB wish list during a visit to team headquarters. Such lists of franchises’ draft desires are usually kept very secret. But Eagles-backing BGN is more than happy to ...
Ocho wants to stinko the Cowboys
It always makes me laugh when a player under contract to a team talks about playing for another team. It is no secret that Chad Johnson is unhappy in Cincinnati. The Bengals have been adamant that they won’t trade Johnson. However, don’t let that stop Ocho from playing fantasy football.
When Pacman Jones Entered the NFL, Dallas Cowboys Took Him Off Their Draft Board
The news that the Dallas Cowboys are considering a trade with the Tennessee Titans for suspended cornerback Adam Pacman Jones is particularly interesting in light of the report from Marc Engel of the Star-Telegram that when Jones was coming out of college, the Cowboys were so skeptical of his ability to stay out of trouble that they took him off their draft board. You might think that if the ...
