... Been out of town with only a USA Today under my arm and a schizo ESPN to keep up with anything. Did get to watch the Mavericks defeat the Phoenix Suns Sunday at a hotel bar. 1. I thought the Mavs were cooked. 2. Dirk Nowitzki is a golden god. There are huge wins and then there are huge wins. Frankly, win or lose, I thought the Mavs had the inside track to one of the two remaining playoff spots only because Denver and Golden State are so inept and uncapable of winning anything.
