According to the NY Post, Yankee outfielder Johnny Damon says he is ready to return to action and DH at the very least (though the role of injured, unable to throw DH currently belongs to Jorge so they will have to work that one out between them). Joe Girardi was less aggressive, stating that Damon might do a rehab assignment starting Thursday and be ready for the Boston series.
