From Ed Price: Johnny Damon is likely going on the disabled list because of his bruised and sprained left shoulder. Two people close to Damon, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the team has not made a final decision, said they expect Damon to go on the DL. One reason the Yankees might lean toward a DL stint is a four-day All-Star break next week.
