If he had come right out after the Mitchell Report was released and pulled the Andy Pettitte or Rodney Harrison reasoning for using PED's, many fans would have been dissappointed, but I believe most would have forgiven him and moved on. The Clemens hearing is over now, and the assorted parties have retreated.
