Peter Abraham confirms what Sarah shared back in 2006 - Dan McCutchen got a bum rap and was not busted for using PEDs.
Some more on this prospect from Peter's report:
Counting the Eastern League playoffs, McCutchen was 16-4 with a 2.59 ERA last season for Class A Tampa and Class AA Trenton.

thejobarules +1During that April 28, 2005 college game, McCutchen threw 137 pitches in that 9 inning complete game win over Joba Chamberlain's Nebraska team. Joba threw 125 pitches. Why then do we have these pitch counts and innings limits?Would the Yankees rather see a quality starter pitching in the later innings or a LaTroy Hawkins and Kyle Farnsworth?

McCutchen is 25 and impatient.
“At my age, I need to be on the fast track,” he said. “But whether I started the year at Double-A or Triple-A, I know I’m close to the majors.
“I’ve gone through too much already not to keep pushing and get there.”
Keep an eye on McCutchen. If there’s any volatility in the Yankees pen early on, he might just get a call.
