He also has pitched for the Red Sox, going 1-0 with a 2.84 ERA. According to David Lennon of New York Newsday (click here for the post) the Mets will place Marlon Anderson on the DL due to an injured hamstring. Dan Murphy will be recalled to take his spot on the roster. Murphy has played for three minor league teams this season, hitting .315 with 13 HR and 69 RBI.
