Charles Barkley Calls ESPN E:60 Interviewer "Bush League"

... the only way he can....by saying he would have slapped the hell out of the reporter.... Barkley is obviously an acquired taste, but I just can't get enough of him. Later in the interview DP asked who would win in a fight between he and Karl Malone to which Barkley replied, "Is he still allowed to use HGH?”. Now that's funny. The whole interview isn't up yet but I'll link to it when it is. Interviews (DanPatrick.com) ESPN Breaks Out Birth Certificate On Miggy, Things Get Awkward ...

This is a classic example of what we've been talking about here. Stern can't say what he wants to say for fear of backlash. If you have time, listen to his interview on Dan Patrick's radio program.

... . And no, it wasn’t to get his body in shape for his bucknekked soliloquy in Failure to Launch, either. The interview, which you can hear on at SI’s website (who says they’re not getting their money’s worth from DP?), revolves mainly around the difference in medical care from now to when Bradshaw played. He talked about how players used to play with concussions, saying that many athletes would never have been cleared to play in today’s day. That pretty much led into this comment: ...

his playing career.
If you're detecting a lack of surprise in my tone, congratulations on being
perceptive. I already looked at the 70s Steelers as doing for steroids what the
Bill Walsh 49ers did for the west coast offense. The 'roids were legal then, no
one was testing for it, and there's no way the Steelers were the only ones. At
the time, no one knew any better.
Here's what Bradshaw said on

Tebow Talks Playboy On The Dan Patrick Show

... Good follow up by Dan there, and for trying to get something out of him, but this kid isn't budging. If you've seen him this offseason, the guy has more prepared answers than Erin Andrews at this point. Not a bad thing, and good for him for having morals, but things have gone down hill since that pic in the video was found. Oh well. Tim Tebow Interview (DanPatrick.com)
