... haven't done business together before. So you have no problem putting aside personal feelings for business? Sometimes. We did for a lot of years. The bottom line, I believe, is that both White and Ortiz want to make money, and they can both make more money together than they can apart. ... If he puts in an a reasonable request that’s then accepted by Affliction, the UFC would then have the right to match that offer and drag him right back into the UFC. Again, this scenario requires you to beleive that the UFC has the right to match any offer Tito accepts and more importantly the prospect that perhaps Tito isn’t as big of a retard as he seems to be at times. Big leaps of faith, there. But I just figured I’d throw out the idea and see what you guys thought. (props to Bloody Elbow for finding the article)
