The St. Louis Cardinals set a record yesterday. With Nick Stavinoha starting at DH, they set a season record for starting rookies. Thus far the Cardinals have started nine different rookies and weirdly enough Colby Rasmus is not one of them. In a game that started off as a pitcher’s duel between Boston Red Sox starter Jon Lester and St. Louis Cardinals starter Joel Piñeiro, ended in the 13th inning when Kevin Youkilis hit a 2-run walk-off homer to help the Red Sox win 5-3. The win ended a 2-game losing streak in front of 37,085 at Fenway Park.
