... If you haven't heard about the Red Sox's "Dancing with the All-Stars", then shame on you. Content warning: if you don't want to see a scrawny, awkward looking man hop around with "Daddy" written in glitter on his chest then I advise you to look away. ...

This is my team? These guys? This THING? What the HELL? No it wasn't the devastating loss to the Twins (ouch Buchholtz) that I'm complaining about. That's just Spring Training. I'm a little more concerned with the loss of dignity. Papelbon... you look like a tranny. I never thought I would be saying THIS, but thank God Mike Lowell can dance. Oh and Pedroia? Put a shirt on. Damn... ...

Put on your dancing Sox!
Published 3/4/2008 by Sarah Green at umpbump.com
... By now, most of you have probably seen these pictures of dancing Red Sox players at Mike Lowell’s charity dinner. I know it made my Monday morning when I read it on Center Field. But I didn’t truly appreciate the, um, choreography until I saw the video this evening. For the best montage, plus additional full-lenth videos of each routine, ...

Red Sox Dancing Half-Naked? Never A Good Idea

Thankfully, for everyone, the Sox players were not stripping off clothes at a club -- it's much better (worse?) than that. Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia and Mike Lowell put on their dancing shoes - and appropriately embarrassing costumes - to compete in a Dancing With The Stars-style dance-off for charity. And the resulting photos? TREMENDOUS.

The Red Sox Are Still Dancing
This is from " Mike Lowell 's Dancing With the All-Stars" event from this past weekend. I was kind of hoping that Jonathan Papelbon would pick up a new schtick over the winter, but apparently making a fool out of yourself with exaggerated dance steps is still considered high comedy in Red Sox Nation. Congrats to Dustin Pedroia , though, for breaking down misguided stereotypes of what ...

Red Sox Pants Off Dance Off
Alright, no one really took their pants off (to the best of our knowledge anyway, as Julian Tavarez' whereabouts are still undocumented), but the Red Sox continued to establish themselves as Jonathan Papelbon's Flying Circus at the Mike Lowell Foundation's Dancing With the All-Stars charity event . The Bot (seen here wearing something that wouldn't have seemed out of place in a dinner ...
Awwww, crumbs.
Do you remember how I was saying the Phillies were giving the Sox a run at having the coolest clubhouse ever? I retract that completely. As is wont to happen whenever I go away from baseball for a couple days, the Sox came out and held two events that embody perfectly why I love them so much. The first being Mike Lowell's The Mike Lowell Foundation Dancing with the All- Stars charity event,

Dustin Pedroia Dances, Is Sort Of A Lardass
This is a clip of Mike Lowell, Dustin Pedroia and Jonathan Papelbon dancing at the Red Soxs' "Dancing with the All Stars" benefit dinner in Florida. Have to think a few people didn't want their dinners after that. I think ...
