Chris De Luca: Though all the precincts haven't reported, it's safe to project the White Sox as the winners in the Brandon McCarthy trade. And the decision runs deeper than the combined efforts of John Danks and Nick Masset during a 13-8 victory Sunday over the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park that extended the White Sox' winning streak to five games and gave them a 7-3 record on their 10-game trip.
