Daryl Thompson To Be Called Up

Part of me didn't expect Thompson to get called up for the game Saturday, but after Dusty's quote about not being able to tell us who is starting Saturday it made it a little obvious.
A few reasons why I didn't expect it:
* It's a road game
* It's in Yankee Stadium
* He has only pitched 14 games above the single A level
* Josh Fogg is still in the organization on a rehab stint ...

Let’s see if we can start another win streak today after our last one was snapped yesterday. It sure was good to have Norris Hopper back today. I never thought I'd say that, but he contributed right away. Excellent. I really like him as a fourth outfielder. From C. Trent Rosecrans post game stuff. On Saturday's starter: "Yes (a decision has been made) but I don't know if we can say it or not. So we'll see." That would lead me to believe it's Thompson. Games played 06/14/08 AAA Louisville 4 - Rochester 1 Ryan Hanigan goes 2 for 5 with a HR. Michael Griffin went 2 for 4 with a 2B. Drew T. Anderson doubled and walked.
