Kiel, 27, died last night when he rolled the 2004 Chevy sedan he was driving in Scripps Ranch, Calif. An eyewitness saw him driving the wrong direction on the road before the accident. Kiel, a second-round pick in 2003 and immediate starter for the team, saw his career derailed after he was caught shipping two boxes of codeine-based cough syrup via FedEx in 2006.
