First off, I want to sincerely thank all of you for your passionate and (in most cases) thoughtful commentary on the Marcus Camby trade that went down on Tuesday night. Now that the dust has settled from this still shocking news, I need to cut through the bullshit being fed to us by Nuggets management and, most unfortunately, being bought into by many of this blog's readers and Nuggets fans ... Allen Iverson, JR Smith, Carmelo Anthony, Josh Smith, and whatever you want to play Center. That strikes fear into the hearts of men. It won't happen, of course. More likely is a smaller set up by the Nuggets that they try and sell to the fans as a "big move" which is actually nothing at all. But it's a thought. It should be noted that Denver Stiffs tends to disagree with the more optimistic mindset regarding this turn of events. ...

... there is a question here: Because the Clippers had room under the salary cap, they could have brokered a three-way trade that would have sent Shawn Marion to the Clippers, landed Camby with the Heat and perhaps even gotten an extra draft pick or two for the Nuggets.
