 Defending The Flop
Apparently, a "flop" by Andrei Kirilenko in the closing minutes of game two helped Utah steal another win in Houston. Mr. Duel was livid about the flailing and that the NBA should step in. His proposal: to whistle the play dead once the flop has occurred and assess the flopper with a technical foul. Mike Greenberg, you are an idiot. And anyone that agrees with his idea is an idiot as well. [link]

Andrei Kirilenko vs. Cypress Hill - A to the K (video)

The first time I saw a basketball highlight reel on YouTube I wanted to make this video. Juxtapose a pasty-white Russian basketball player with a nickname of AK-47 and a gangsta rap anthem. It seemed obvious. Why hadn't it been done before? Then I realized Utah Jazz fans probably don't listen to gangsta rap. And if they did, it would be the censored version. But that wouldn't work. A to the K.

Alas, Poor T-Mac...I Knew Him, Horatio! [Nba Closer]

The NBA Closer is written by Matt McHale, who will never, ever forget McGrady's greatness in defeat. He's kind of like a 21st century Dominique Wilkins, if 'Nique had never made it out of the first round. When he's not praising T-Mac, he's probably ...

Game 1 is history and what was imperative tonight was that the Leers held home court advantage. Denver threw their fair share of changes the Lakers’ way, but it was really up to the stronger Lakers to dictate how this game went and moreover how the series will play out. The big difference quickly from the first game to this one was the glut of outside shots the Lakers pushed the Nuggets ...
