There are a few sound bites in sports that are worth posting whenever something newsworthy happens that remotely relates. I'd say this news today relates well.
Dennis Green is trying to copyright the phrase "They Are Who We Thought They Were."

... now former Cardinals coach Dennis Green has filed a trademark application for the famous phrase he uttered that night, "They are who we thought they were." The application says Green wants to use the phrase on "Hats, caps, baseball caps, knitted caps, golf caps, sports jerseys, t-shirts, polo shirts, sport shirts, sweatshirts, golf shirts, sweat bands, sweat pants, jogging pants." The game was exactly as Denny Green's "trademark" phrase suggests, with Tywon Lawson getting a new career high with 26 (or so) including a healthy number of three-pointers made.
