It's a cloudy Sunday morning on the East Coast, but the dreary weather simply gives soccer fans another excuse to stay in and watch a loaded schedule of games. From the Everton-Arsenal match that is about to kick off, to the Milan Derby and Argentine Super Clasico, to the DC United-Colorado Rapids match (otherwise known as the Christian Gomez derby), there is something for everybody. ...Defeating Derby

If only we could play Derby ever week. The boss had nothing but praise, saying “we are now back to our real level.” A 6-2 win generally a time for celebration, but with the league virtually out of reach, not much to really hope for or harp on. Instead of reading a lot of nonsense I’ve written, have a look at the highlights: Arsenal 6 - Derby 2 [Monday, April ...Snapshot - Derby County 2-6 Arsenal, FA Premier League

It was a game that had a real end of season feel to it. We played in second gear the whole time and got caught by a plucky Derby team who at least gave it a shot. Sitting bottom of the league after the season they’ve had it would have been easy for them to roll over but they didn’t and credit to the Derby fans who gave the club their 6th consecutive sellout crowd at home. And ...Derby vs Arsenal Highlights: EPL Highlights

In the English version of Monday Night Football, Derby County showed just why they'll be playing in the Championship next season by getting thrashed by Arsenal 6-2, in front of their home fans. Jay McEveley and Robert Earnshaw struck for the Rams but Emmanuel Adebayor stole the show, coming on at the start of the second half for the injured Robin van Persie, and picking up his second hat trick ...Derby 2 Arsenal 6 - Ade In On The Act Again…He Does A Dance To Show It

Before the game I was interested to see how we would line up. With the season done and dusted but for a small miracle, it is a perfect opportunity to see how certain players can improve the side. Wenger has a chance to look at new options and partnerships and tonight he went half way to doing this. He chose Fabianski in goal which is a good choice. He is thought of highly at the club and ...Emmanuel Adebayor for Arsenal (v Derby County), 28 April 2008

Derby 2 - Arsenal 6 (Premier League, April 28, 2008) Nicklas Bendtner put Arsenal in front at Pride Park after a one-two with Van Persie. A minute later the Dutchman was guilty of a shocking miss after great play by Walcott. Just after the half-hour the Rams equalised, James McEveley poked home from close range after a cross from Robbie Savage. Derby County manager Paul Kewell said over the weekend that he intends on bringing some of Arsenal’s impressive youth players to Pride Park on loan for next season. "I have spoken to Arsene a couple of times in the season about maybe having a look at some of his players," he said. "What I said was if you’d be prepared to loan out anyone let us know. Sadly, another meaningless game. Unless of course, both Chelsea and Man United lose all their remaining games. If that happens (odds are about 1 in 10000000000000000), Arsenal wins the league - assuming winning their remaining games. Since that isn’t going to happen, I’ll focus on today’s match against the already relegated Derby County. Last match against Derby was a 5-0 ...Arsenal ponder record breaking £20m move: Great player!

Arsene Wenger will hope for goals galore as Arsenal take on Derby and he will also hope that Flamini and Hleb will not be leaving in the summer and apparently Wenger also hopes to secure this great Brazilian attacker. £20m rated Real Madrid superstar Robinho may be making his way to the Premier League next season with Arsenal and Tottenham leading the chase for his signature. You know the season is over when a manager begins to consider resting his players for an upcoming international tournament. That is exactly what Arsene Wenger has started to consider this week as we enter the last 3 games of a trophyless season. I hope we set a marker down for next season with three wins and Derby are up first on Monday night. It does make sense to send those called up ...REFILE-Soccer-Adebayor hits hat-trick as Arsenal crush Derby 6-2 (Reuters)
