MrThell Yeah, in time he will. Kid has star potential, and his ability to get to the rack and kick it will make people around him look better. You put a legitimate big man on this roster who can score and the future doesn't look so bad. Of course, Deng needs to step it up and become what he's getting paid to be. -
mookie I don't that anyone will be rushing to play in Chi-town until the house is cleaned out a little bit. It seems like there is already too much of a logjam at various positions, with mediocre/underperforming players.
Rose, Gordon, Deng, Tyrus, Gooden... if they can keep those guys and then attract a couple of others to replace the dead weight, the Bulls could be in a good position again.
All just my humble opinion of course...

bigboi Rose is great and he will eventually have a good effect on attracting free agents, but as a nonbulls fan I found the announcers of the game last night quite annoying in their constant stat comparisons to Michael Jordan and his rookie year. Like no matter how good rose gets he'll never be near Jordan's level, so why set him up to fail so much.-

EthanJaynes Well said, indeed. Compare him to an average NBA star intead of MJ. MJ is the best ever. Rose will just be good compared to him.
Also stats are just one part of the story. MJ set the whole league on fire. Rose is just doing great for a rookie.
