Shawn Green was safe at first on the relay, scoring Endy Chavez with the tying run, but the umps called interference and the Phillies held on for their third straight win against the Mets. It was a questionable call, Anderson's foot appeared to have touched the bag, but there was no doubt that he shoved Iguchi on the transition. Making it worse was that it was probably not going to be a double play even if the second baseman got a clean throw off.
