Ron Artest to join the Lakers; hangover pending
Houston Rockets —
One of the most popular mixed drinks of all time is the 'Rum and Coke.' When I'm pouring (even with my heavy hand) I like to add a bit more Coke, as its sweetness helps to take some of the bite off of the potent rum. Not too far below Los Angeles, across the border into Mexico, they drink Rum and Coke too, but they have a different name for it. They call it 'Ron con Cola' (easily translated as 'rum with cola'). ...

Ick's Corner —
Ron Artest signed a 5 year $33 million dollar with the Lakers and it leaves me wondering only one thing, why? Sure Ron Artest was on his best behavior in Houston, but most Rockets fans would agree he disappeared during the playoffs. As I write this post another question comes to mind. Why did Artest sign with the Lakers for about half his asking price when in talks with the Rockets? Artest wanted over $60 million on a 5 year deal to stay with the Rockets. offseason excuse to rank some of the best and not-so-brightest of the 10
campaigns in question. The result? Why, top 10 lists!
The
criteria here is simple. Anyone whose losses their dang mind, gets a vote.
Anyone
who decides to hold a candle to their frontal lobe, melting into ooze what once
housed sound thinking and practical application of said ...
Ron Artest Says What We’re All Thinking
Rumors and Rants —
The Los Angeles Lakers won a world championship in 2009 and promptly re-signed virtually their entire roster … with one exception of course. The Lake-show called Trevor Ariza’s bluff and let him walk to the Houston Rockets and in turn signed the talented yet enigmatic Ron Artest away from Houston.
Luckily for Lakers fans, Artest realizes there’s a gigantic elephant in the room and he addressed it today in San Diego during a visit to promote the Lakers’ exhibition game against the Denver Nuggets at the San Diego Sports Arena on Oct. 23.
“They won last year, and I’m the new addition. ...
