ESPN reporting that Dirk got 1 game for his flagrant foul on AK-47. Well deserved, in my opinion.

No Yao... but No Nowitzki, too!
The Dream Shake —
... The true first threat to end the Rockets' winning streak is/was Dallas. Who we play tomorrow night on the wrong end of a back-to-back. (If Indy wins tonight, more power to them, but I'm not ready to write the necessary rant and rave if the Rockets F this up tonight). Dallas was an even bigger threat until about an hour ago. When we learned that the Diggler had been naughty and won't be able to come out and play. Dirk suspended for 1 game. And since Yao is out for, oh, another 20 games... no sympathy here, Dallas. Next time try not flagrantly fouling. Only ...
What's German for "unpaid vacation?"
Lakers Blog —
Actually, I should know, having taken German in high school and in college. Of course, that was a while ago and I wasn't very good at it, which explains why I'm letting y'all know in English that Dirk Nowitzki was tagged a game by the NBA for his ...
Dallas....We have a problem.
Bob's Blog - Live from Lewisville —
No Dirk tonight against the Rockets The Mavs desperately need a win tonight. Sure, they need a 'w' to keep up in the West and try to prevent falling into the 8th seed, but this team could take a massive blow to their psyche if they get beat by a Yao-less Rockets team going for a ridiculous 17th straight win. Lets be honest about a few things as we watch Dallas and Houston tonight.....First, Dirk probably should have been suspended for his flagrant on AK 47 on monday night. He made the fould out of frustration after going down by as many ...

sports.aol.com 3/8/2008 — Seems like everybody's getting suspended these days (see: Thomas, Tyrus ; Nowitzki, Dirk : Harrison, David ), and considering Anthony Johnson is the only one who delivered a hit so vicious it broke three teeth and shifted others , he had to have ...
Take your suspension like a big boy, Dirk —
Ball Don't Lie
On Monday, Dirk Nowitzki did
this to Andrei Kirilenko . Two days ago, Dirk was suspended
for it.
Today, I read this :
The people who made that
decision -- well, they have never been on the court in an NBA game.
Nowitzki made sure to point
that out when discussing his suspension before the Mavericks' game against
Houston.
"To me, the guys at
the NBA who make the decisions, ...
Andrei Kirilenko Is Not Out for 'Revenge' —
FanHouse
Apparently, Andrei Kirilenko understands that Dirk Nowitzki 's flagrant foul on the Jazz forward was not meant with any real ill-will. Of course, it probably doesn't hurt knowing that Dirk got suspended for a game and lost a check. Of course, it probably does hurt that AK-47 is rolling around on a sprained hip these days and doesn't know how long he'll be injured, but he's cool apparently.

Nowitzki Suspended for Kirilenko Take Down —
FanHouse
So apparently clotheslining players isn't considered kosher: the NBA suspended Dirk Nowitzki one game for Monday's take down of Andrei Kirilenko after reviewing the tape and upgrading the call from a flagrant one to a flagrant two . He'll sit out tomorrow's game against the Rockets and be fined one game check, which means his hit will end up costing him nearly $200,000 of his $16.36 million ...
