Do the Giants need Plaxico Burress?

I am beginning to wonder just how important Plaxico Burress is to this New York Giants football team. There is mounting evidence that the Giants are just fine without the mercurial wide receiver. He is a special talent, but the Giants have scored 81 points in two games without him.
